Human Services Office of Emergency Health Systems has helped in funding participation in this event. Provider approved by the
California Board of Nursing. CEP Provider #CEP17850 for 7.0 contact hours.
Requests for approval for contact hours must be received by the Education Department Coordinator 30 days in advance of the program. In order to expedite approval, the requestor must submit all course information in one package and will include: course overview/description, measurable objectives/outcomes for the participants, current CV of the presenter, lesson plan, equipment needs, evaluation tool. If CBRN contact hours are requested, the requestor MUST comply with all California Board of Nursing rules/regulations and offerings must be applicable to enhancement of nursing practice. In addition, presenters for programs where CBRN contact hours will be issued, MUST meet or exceed all California Board of Nursing requirements. After completion of the education event, a completed roster with verification of issuance of contact hours will be included in the educational offering file. All records will be under the control of the education department and will be open to inspection as needed. In the case of an unexpected need to cancel the offering/course/program pre-registered participants will be notified by text/email/phone. The participant may request a full refund or may apply their fee to another/rescheduled offering. Refund requests will be processed within 30 days. In the case that the participant must cancel less than 48 hours prior to offering, RWHS may at their discretion refund full/partial fees that have been pre-paid. Refunds will be processed within 30 days. In the case of a “no-show” without notification, RWHS is not obligated to refund any prepaid fees. If you are ill, please do not attend in person. In most cases we can arrange remote access. All participants are encouraged to plan ahead and if there is a need to cancel, please notify the Education Department in advance so we may fill that slot. Refund requests will be reviewed and processed within 30 days.
