About this Event
The Australia China Business Council Western Australia (ACBC WA) and the Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Australia (CCCA) Perth Branch invite you to the 9th Annual Ping Pong Friendship Games and End of Year Drinks on Thursday 5 December 2024.
Enjoy some friendly competition and immerse yourself in this fun-filled cultural experience. This free event provides a fantastic opportunity to connect with fellow members, colleagues and friends. All skill levels welcome!
This is a team-friendly competition which requires every team to consist of three players. Each team is only allowed to have a maximum of ONE player whose Ratings Central rating exceeds 1000.
You can register as a team of three or register as an individual player and you will be placed into a team with two other players. There will be also a trophy for the best dressed team!
After a full day of Ping Pong battles, culminating in the Exhibition Match between the Premier of Western Australia the Hon Roger Cook MLA and the Consul General of the People's Republic of China in Perth Dingbin Long. Please also join us for a relaxed End of Year Networking & Drinks!
Competition
DATE: Thursday 5 December 2024
LOCATION: Top Spins Table Tennis Club - 19 Golding St, West Perth WA 6005
FORMAT:
8.30am - 8.45am - Registration (please be punctual)
9:00am - 10.30am – First round of knock out games
10.30am -11.30am – Second round of knock out games
11.30am - 12.30pm – Light lunch provided
(Non playing players can obtain their lunch during this period while other matches are still going - No break time for games)
11:30am -12:30pm – Semi Finals
1.00pm - 2.30pm – Finals
2.30pm – Exhibition Match - Hon. Roger Cook MLA, Premier of Western Australia vs Dingbin Long, Consul General of the People’s Republic of China in Perth.
2:45pm - Presentations
The above time are guideline only and subject to change on the day.
REGISTRATIONS CLOSE: Monday 2 December so that all teams can be finalised and competition schedule confirmed.
