What: This putting league is designed to help disc golfers with their putting during the “offseason.” We will be using the Marksmen format, where players will putt 5 times from 5 stations. Each putt made on station 1 is worth 1 point, each putt made on station 2 is worth 2 points, etc. Stations 1-3 will be regular baskets, and stations 4 and 5 will be precision baskets. There will be two divisions, Amateur and Advanced. If there is enough interest, I would be able to accommodate female and junior divisions as well. When: The league will be Sunday (12/8, 12/15, 1/5, 1/12, 1/19, 1/26, 2/2, 2/16, 2/23, 3/2, 3/16, 3/23, 4/6, 4/13, and 4/27) with rolling “tee” times between 4:00PM and 6:30PM. Players must start their first round before 6:30PM to play in that week’s session. Neshaminy Creek Brewing Company closes at 7PM and we want to be finished prior to that.
Cost: The cost to play each session will be $7. $3 goes to covering league fees/expenses, $3 to payout the weekly winners and a random payout, and $1 to payout the top total points earners (roughly top 40%).
Other Info: Players MUST complete 8 of the 14 sessions to be eligible for end of league payout with the best 8 scores being used if more than 8 are played. If there is a tie at the end of the league, the highest session score will be used to break it. If a tie persists, we will use the 2nd, 3rd, etc. The final session will be a fun layout with obstacles where league payouts will be distributed.
