Calgary Roller Derby is excited to announce the start of our 2024/2025 Rookie Training season!We are hosting a complete training program for new skaters starting on ??????, ????????? ?, ????.
This training program prepares new skaters for a successful transition into our league practices, scrimmages and our 2025 game season.
The program ensures you can safely participate as a league member and is an essential element to be eligible to be drafted to play on our house team.
You will need to ?????? ???? ??? helmet, mouthguard and quad skates as a minimum. We have elbow pads, wrist guards and knee pads you can borrow during class but we can not guarantee size availability.

Classes are held every Sunday, from September to February 2025 except on long weekends and during a league break for the December and January holidays.
Can’t make the first class? That’s OK! There will be time to catch up.
The program consists of ?? ??????? and costs $???.?? total. It is also mandatory to have ?????? ???????? ????????? through WFTDI ($??.??/????).

You will need your own gear for the program and valid skater insurance (we recommend WFTDI Canada insurance).
