In her new book Ordinary Mysticism (September 2024), internationally acclaimed author, teacher, and professor of world religions, Mirabai Starr makes clear how we can all experience the sacred in everyday events: weeding our gardens, an evening walk with a friend, our kitchen table surrounded by family, indeed even in our shortcomings, including the mess that we create of our lives. “Life Worth Living: How to Create a Flourishing Life”
Matthew Croasmun co-teaches one of Yale University’s most popular undergraduate courses, Life Worth Living. Croasmun will offer a workshop designed to help participants begin to answer the questions that arise when we choose to consider what it means for a life to be lived well. The Life Worth Living course has been codified into a bestselling guidebook for defining and creating a flourishing life. This program will provide participants with jumping-off points, road maps, and habits of reflection for figuring out where their lives hold meaning and where things need to change.
