About this Event
Join us! The Arts and Humanities Council of Montgomery County (AHCMC) invites you to the opening reception of the 2024-2025 Montgomery County Artist Residency exhibition on Thursday, January 29, from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. This event is free and open to the public.
The 2024-2025 Montgomery County Artist Residency exhibition features works by AHCMC’s Artists-In-Residence: Alyscia Cunningham, Liliane Blom, and Jasmine Adams.
In 2024, AHCMC invited Alyscia, Liliane, and Jasmine to use their artistic practices to connect with communities in UpCounty, Mid-County, and East County. Through hands-on workshops, conversations, and creative projects, these talented local artists centered community voices and explored civic concerns most important to residents, such as identity, resilience, and belonging. This exhibition invites you to see, hear, and feel the vibrant stories that emerged. RSVP to discover how art can build bridges, strengthen relationships, increase civic engagement, and nurture creative collaboration in our communities.
Featured Artists: Alyscia Cunningham, Liliane Blom, and Jasmine Adams
Gallery Hours: Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
This reception is free and open to the public.
