2023 Reunion (Updated 1 October, 2022) - Next years reunion is well on track to be a HUGE event. The dates are 11-14 October 2023. We have also selected the SureStay Best Western Hotel as our base of operations & negotiated a great room rate. Rooms will be $79 for a single and $119 for a Suite. Let me be clear on this, it is an older but updated Hotel. The rooms are nice but it is not the Hilton. That is why the rooms are $79 a night and not $149. The other big plus for this Hotel is they have the biggest Banquet room in the area. No other Hotel comes even close. We have "EXCLUSIVE" use of the Banquet Hall for the entire four days of our reunion. We have also arranged for a full breakfast to be served every day of the reunion at no extra charge to our members. There are 78 rooms at this Hotel and 40 of them are Suites. The Suites have a kitchenette area & I Believe they all have a Washer & Dryer as well. It is essentially two single rooms joined by a doorway so the sleeping area is separate. I think the rooms are very nice & believe people will be happy when they see them. We are expecting over 100 people to attend this reunion & I would think that the Suites might go quickly so I suggest making your reservations ASAP. The code to use for our special room rate is: "LEWIS AND CLARK" & that only works by calling in and not by booking on line. DO NOT USE THE 800 NUMBER ... use (912) 882-6250 only. A few more pieces of good news. After a lot of leg work Dan and I were able to arrange for essentially as many as we want to go on the Boat tour which is tentatively scheduled for Saturday morning the 14th. Please realize that no one can predict the world situation 14 month's from now and there is no 100% guarantee that we will get a tour. However, we will do everything in our power to make this happen. We have made great contact's at the base and we will check all the right boxes to give us the best possible chance for this to happen. Last item for now is the reunion fee. Right now we are estimating $125 per person but that has not been finalized. There are just too many variables with the economy and world situation to lock that in right now. Soon I will want to start getting together a list of who plans to attend and I will make an announcement on that very soon. I'm looking forward to seeing many new faces that have never attended a ships reunion. It's going to be a great one !!! ....... PS: Make you reservations now.
