The United States Naval Academy (USNA) is the undergraduate college of our country's naval service. USNA is proud to be ranked by U.S. News & World Report as the #1 top public school in the U.S. and is committed to continuing its strong legacy of preparing young men and women to become professional officers of competence, character, and compassion in the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps.
Admission to the Naval Academy is highly competitive. USNA seeks high-achieving, well-rounded young people, who exemplify the values, honor, and tradition of the Academy. As a student at the Academy, you will find numerous opportunities for extracurricular activities to complement the rich academic and physical training you will receive. All students who attend do so on a full scholarship. The Navy pays 100% of the tuition, room and board, medical and dental care costs of Naval Academy midshipmen.
Choosing a college is one of the most exciting, daunting, and important decisions you will ever make. As you explore your options and begin the journey of navigating your future, you are invited to consider life as a midshipman.
Each January, the application process opens for the Summer Stem Camp and Summer Seminar.
