The UF Judging Camp is a multi-day camp that is designed to teach students the basics of livestock judging and reasons.
About this Event

Both camps are open for ages 8yo through a senior in high school.

NEW THIS YEAR-- we have adjusted our schedule to better accommodate our two camp tracks.

Reasons Camp
July 20th - July 22nd

This camp track is designed for students that already understand the basics of placing a class and are ready to focus on and sharpen their reasons. This track will include one and a half days of instruction and a mock contest on the 3rd day. Campers should expect to give at least 20 sets of reasons throughout the duration of camp, if participants are unwilling to give that many sets then we would encourage them to sign up for the fundamentals camp.

Fundamentals Camp
July 21st - July 22nd

This camp track is designed for students that are just beginning or are in need of a better understanding of the fundamentals of livestock judging. Campers will focus mostly on placing classes, and very briefly cover reasons. This track will include one full day of instruction and a mock contest on the second day.
