2023 Twilight Sports VOLUNTEER Registration

• Term 1: Saturdays, 25 February-18 March (note new dates), Bankstown Basketball Stadium, Condell Park - Basketball
• Term 2: Fridays, 12 May-23 June, Morris Iemma Indoor Sports Centre, Riverwood - Soccer
• Term 3: Saturdays, 5 August-16 September, Bankstown Basketball Stadium, Condell Park - Tagball (an adapted indoor version of Oz Tag)
• Term 4: Fridays, 20 October-1 December, Morris Iemma Indoor Sports Centre, Riverwood - Volleyball
• Time: 6.30-11.15pm

Please note, a Working With Children Clearance number must be obtained for volunteers, 18years and over, .

Twilight Sports is a FREE indoor non competitive sports program aimed at encouraging participation and fun for 12-18 year olds. The program aims to engage young people through sport in a safe supervised environment, while benefiting the Canterbury-Bankstown community through:

• Providing positive role models for young people
• Providing young people with access to local youth and support services
• Providing volunteering opportunities and training
• Building self esteem and resilience in young people

The program includes dinner, uniforms and transport home.

Players and volunteers are encouraged to: 

• Enjoy the spirit of the game and not focus on winning
• Use the games to build both players skills and interpersonal relationships
• Give all players an opportunity, regardless of skills and experience
