- Objectives of the event
- To give black people in what is supposed to be a month of black celebration an opportunity to learn about developing, and presenting a pitch deck, as well as an opportunity to be rewarded and encouraged for their efforts in entrepreneurship as underrepresented community members
- To encourage BIPOC community members to take a leap of faith when it regards innovation, entrepreneurship, and public speaking
- To open the underrepresented community to the resources available to them in their entrepreneurship journey
- To help foster engagement in the BIPOC community, and foster networking
- To aid the general development of small businesses in the BIPOC community
