Since 1995, the SLO Foundation has sponsored national biennial SLOS scientific conferences in conjunction with their SLOS family conferences. This year the SLOS Scientific Conference is scheduled for June 22-23, 2023, and the SLOS Family Conference on June 23 - 24, 2023. Having the two conference dates overlap provides a rare and inspiring opportunity for researchers to interact with the real people they are trying to help. Chances to meet and interact are provided through receptions and combined buffet lunches.

The SLOS Scientific Conference brings together new and seasoned physicians and researchers to present and publish current information related to SLOS and broaden the collective knowledge of Smith-Lemli-Opitz syndrome. Through lectures and formal discussions attendees will learn about the medical and educational issues facing individuals with SLOS as well as an update on current basic scientific advances.

There is also a live-stream (Zoom-only) registration option in case live attendance is not possible.
