About this Event
Hello and good day. May this communication find you well.
We are excited to share with you that we will be back IN-PERSON for our 2023 Joint Blue and White Day on the Hill, on Tuesday April 11 and the state legislative capitol in Nashville TN. This will be a time to fellowship and a time to connect with members of Zeta Phi Beta and Phi Beta Sigma from across the state of Tennessee in a day of legislative learning and civic engagement.
We know that there are very important civic, social, and political activities taking place throughout our cities, our state, and across our country for that matter. As we come together at the state capitol, we will focus on three core issues that have been identified by members across both organizations. This focus will help to keep our time most productive.
The legislative areas of focus are:
1. Policing and police reform
2. Women’s reproductive rights and women’s health care
3. Educational Equity for Tennessee’s Children
We will be ordering boxed lunches from Jason’s Deli. Here is the catering menu that showcases the different box lunch options for large groups.

Everyone will be responsible for paying for their own lunch. As you RSVP to the event, we will send an additional notice for ordering your lunch.
We are excited for this opportunity to connect with and to build productive relationships with the elected officials who create policies that shape the landscape of cities. We hope that you will take this time to join us and participate in this important 2023 Joint Blue and White Day on the Hill.
