He will deliver the Bauder Lecture at Marygrove at 8:00 pm on Friday, April 28, 2023.Now in its thirty-fourth year, the Contemporary American Authors Lecture Series (CAALS) is an annual event bringing a nationally known African American author to the Marygrove campus for a public lecture and class session or conversation.
This is a free event, but registration is required.
CAALS is supported by the Marygrove Conservancy, the Michigan Arts and Culture Council, the National Endowment for the Arts, and the Lillian and Don Bauder Endowment.
