About this Event
This will be a celebration of the victories we've won, preparation for the battles to come, and encouragement for the YRs candidates who will lead the way. Our party needs the YRs to ensure we win this election but it also needs YRs to run in those elections. This convention will help us kick-off the "Year of the YR" in which we flood Texas with young Republican candidates.
When you register, you will be asked to "add on" tickets for our four main events: the Thursday night Comedy Show, Friday Border Tour & Bar Crawl, the convention meeting, and the gala. This gives us an accurate count for each.
Thursday, September 29th:

- 6:30PM: Welcome Comedy Show at 5x5 Brewery
Friday, September 30th:
- 10:00AM - 12:30PM: Registration
- 1:00PM - 3:30PM: Committee Meetings
- 3:30PM - 4:00PM: Transport to Border Tour
- 4:00PM - 5:30PM: Border Tour
- 5:30PM - 7:00PM: Dinner & Social at Smokin' Moon
- 7:00PM -8:30PM: Transportation Back to Embassy Suites
- 9:00PM - 11:00PM: Bar Crawl at Uptown
- 11:00PM: 1st Round Shuttle Back to Hotel
- 12:30PM: 2nd Round Shuttle Back to Hotel
Saturday, October 1st:
- 8:00AM - 9:00AM: Registration
- 9:30AM - 12:10PM: Breakout Sessions
- 12:10PM - 1:00PM: Lunch
- 1:15PM - 4:30PM: Convention
- 6:00PM - 7:00PM: YR Alumni & VIP Mixer
- 7:00PM - 9:30PM: Annual Gala Dinner (Black-tie optional)
