The Form of SVS 2022
This year we will be experimenting with a different conference form, one that allows us to spend more time in dialogue and community with one another. As such, each session will run for two hours, and be focused on a single plenary talk / panel, followed by comments from a respondent. After the respondent's comments, we will break up into small groups for a time of discussion among all in attendance about questions raised by the panels. Finally we will reconvene to share briefly what was discussed.
The Content of SVS 2022
We are so thrilled this year to be hosting a wide variety of plenary conversations on such topics as "The Future of Theological Education," "Reading The Bible With The Church: Orthodoxy, The Holy Spirit, and the Authority of Scripture," and "Going To Church With St. Augustine," among several others. Each of these plenaries is being presented by a recognized and creative authority on the topic, who has also devoted their life to bridging divides between academy and church. We are also hugely excited to experience the contemplative musical presentation of SVS alum , which creatively facilitates a prophetic journey into the heart of God.
As always, we will make plenty of time for worship, prayer, and just being together. Anabeth Morgan and a team will lead us in worship, and there will be opportunities for prayer ministry for anyone who wants it. And, of course, you can rest assured that there will be an excellent party!
There will also be a group visit to Denver Art Museum on Thursday afternoon, which is a world-class art collection just steps away from our meeting place. We hope that this will create even more opportunity for meaningful connection with God and one another.
Registration

Location
SVS 2022 will be located at Trinity Church Denver, located at 1340 Sherman St., Denver, CO 80203. We are very grateful to our friends at Trinity Church for hosting us.
Housing
There is no preferred conference hotel this year. However, the conference is close to a variety of downtown hotels, as well as Airbnbs.
For non-US-based attendees, we will attempt to arrange local housing with a member of the Mile High Vineyard community on a first-come, first-served basis. A small number of partial travel scholarships are available on a first come, first served basis.
