St. Augustine’s Seminary has been offering a series of annual conferences, seminars and workshops since 2014 all dedicated to answering a call from His Eminence Thomas Cardinal Collins, how to improve Catholic preaching.
We are delighted to present the seminar: Preaching in a Secular Age by the author Fr. Thomas Scirghi, SJ.
The webinar will be held on Friday, June 17, 2022 and includes 3 conferences and materials provided to attendees. In-person guests will receive a free copy of Fr. Thomas’ book.
After registering for the webinar, St. Augustine's Seminary will send a registration link for the Zoom Webinar if you decide to participate in the event online.

Rev. Thomas J. Scirghi, S.J.
Father Scirghi is a native of New York City and a Jesuit. He is member of the East Coast Province of the Society of Jesus. He teaches in the Theology Department at Fordham University in New York, specializing in Sacramental and Liturgical Theology. He holds an STL from the former Weston School of Theology in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and a ThD in Systematic Theology from Boston University. Fr. Scirghi has taught courses in homiletics and conducted workshops in preaching across the United States and around the world. His recent publication is Longing to See Your Face: Preaching in a Secular Age, published by Liturgical Press.
