The 19th Great Nottingham Inclosure Walk will take place on Sunday, July 10th, 2022 (the 2nd Sunday of the month) starting at 1.00 pm at the river end of Queens Walk (tram stop Embankment) and finishing at the Inclosure Oaks on the Forest. The walk goes through all the Allotted Recreation Grounds and the three miles of Walks given to the people of Nottingham, forever, by the Inclosure Act of 1845.Short talks about the history are given at points of interest. The walk can be joined at the Station, St. Mary’s Church, the bottom of Robin Hood Chase or the Arboretum. It is free. Do come along.
