Building, furnishing, remodeling, or expanding your home? Maybe you’d like to landscape or get help with your garden. Whatever your vision is, the 2022 Home & Garden Show at the Main Event Building of the Bonner County Fairgrounds is the place to be April 2-3!
Meet local businesses in the home and garden arena! It’s always fun to learn about new products and services and how they can make your home a more practical and beautiful place. At one show we met a business to thin our trees and underbrush as required by our home insurance and the owners of the garage door company we later used when we needed them for our shop. We bought plants, ogled over blind and shade options, and learned about heating system options. Come see what we have going for this year! You can also help out the Bonner County Food Bank as the suggested donation for entry is one non-perishable food item or $1 per adult for them.
The Home & Garden Show has been a Bonner County Fairgrounds staple for many years. Unfortunately, it was canceled in 2020 and the sponsoring organization, the Panhandle Building Contractors Association (PBCA) dissolved, and members were absorbed into the CDA chapter, NIBCA. So, it didn’t happen again in 2021. Last summer I asked the NIBCA if they planned to do the Home & Garden Show in Sandpoint and they said no. So, having newly obtained my LLC as Baldy Mountain Media, I decided to take it on. With all the new local people and businesses, we needed that show more than ever!
The event is Saturday 10-5 and Sunday 10-4. Plus, we have a networking dinner for vendors and those business folks who’d like to connect with them Friday April 1 at 5:30 when vendors are setting up their booths. The networking event will be led by Mickey Quinn of Mickey Quinn Consulting and Level UP networking that meets the second Tuesday of every month for lunch at Tango Cafe www.grouplevelup.com. I had a few folks in the construction arena specifically ask me about networking events in their fields, so here it is.

The Bonner Daily Bee, CO-OP Country Round Up (newspaper of CO-OP Gas & Supply Co., Inc.), Reader, The Beacon, Blue Sky Broadcasting, and Lake Pend Oreille Neighbors all helped us advertise the event too.
