This year we are excited to include an inspirational presentation of practice by Dr Philip Van Eyk (School of Chemical Engineering and Advanced Materials). Dr Van Eyk will share his approach to enabling students to connect theory to practice and you will be invited to share in the results.
Dr Philip van Eyk is a Senior Lecturer and Director of Learning and Teaching in the School of Chemical Engineering and Advanced Materials. His teaching interests include Chemical Reactor Engineering, Heat and Mass Transfer, and Separation Process Engineering. His research interests directly compliment his teaching and mostly involve the incorporation of core chemical engineering principles to novel uses of renewable energy outside of power generation, and production of sustainable chemicals and replacements for fossil fuels.
