About this Event
Established in 2004 and occurring in 16+ cities, The National African American Male Wellness Walk (NAAMWW) organizes a 5k awareness campaign focused on addressing the health of African American men.
Each 5K aims to provide vital health screenings for blood pressure, glucose, cholesterol, HIV, STD/STI and prostate cancer for men who may not be seeing the doctor regularly. We help African American men understand illnesses can be prevented or managed, and black men can live healthier, longer lives.
All are welcome to participate in the walk and health screenings for free.
