Frequently Asked Questions:
1. How much does it cost?
- Tasting kits are $5 per person. We ask that you buy 1 tasting kit per person, please. That will entitle you to sample as much chili as you can handle, and a large bowl of the Wagonmaster Chili. There are also beverages for sale in teh footprint: Craft Beer, and Hard Seltzer - $4 ea, Domestic Beer - $3 ea, Assorted Pop - $2 ea, and bottled water - $1 ea.
2. Are Pets Allowed?
- Sorry, no. Our crowd is too large, with too many loud noises (like, I dunno... CANNON'S), and safety is a priority. We love our furry friends, but they are not permitted.
3. Am I going to have to dodge those electric scooters?
- Any and all forms of motorized transportation by the public is forbidden in the chili footprint. We will have some gators for transporting items between tents as efficiently as possible, but that is all that is allowed.
4. What time should I get there?
- We have events starting as early as 9 am this year! And beer sales start then too. You are more than welcome to join us at any time, but public tasting for chili is strictly forbidden prior to noon.
5. Where do I park?
- There is parking all over downtown. You are not allowed to park within the footprint, but there is an amazing amount of parking surrounding Century II.
6. I heard there is a kids zone with ice cream from Hiland Dairy and some fun things to do. How much is that?
- Free. No cost. Zip. Zero. Nada. Gratis.
7. So, that's it? There is just chili?
- Nope. We have the 50/50 Raffle, live music starting at noon, and a kids zone for the kids! This isn't just a block party, this is a 3 block party!
