On Sunday, December 5th, 2021, the United States Bartenders’ Guild Tampa Bay (USBGTB) hosts the 11 Annual Repeal Day Gala. The event is that the historic Italian Club in Ybor city with a VIP hour from 7 to 8 PM, and General Admission from 8 until 11 PM.
On December 5, 1933, the passage of the 22nd amendment ushered in the end of Prohibition. Since 2010, USBGTB has celebrated this momentous anniversary by throwing the grandest, 1920s-themed event in the country.
Guests will enjoy era-inspired cocktails prepared by some of Tampa’s best bartenders with food from local restaurants and entertainment throughout the evening. With dozens of craft cocktails live music, and much more, the gala will be a luxurious celebration of the end to American Prohibition. Growing from a 35 person gathered in the Don Vicente Hotel’s basement to a 700 guests event in 2019 this is sure to be the grandest event yet.
Over the last 10 years the event has raised over $130,000 for it’s charity partners. This year’s partners include The Italian Club and the Museum of the American Cocktail of Southern Food and Beverage Institute.
Dress Code: Formal, Cocktail or 1920-30’s period attire recommended.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
Must be 21+ to enter the venue. A current government-issued ID will be necessary to enter and will be checked out the main door.
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
We suggest utilizing Uber/Lyft/Taxi to attend our event. However, if you will be driving, there is street parking available throughout Ybor City OR there is a parking garage behind the Italian Club.

No, but it will expedite you through the line at check-in. Please have ID ready to assist.
