About this Event
Join us at the Simon Moon Sledding Hill on Saturday, June 12. Firefighters from our Westfield Fire Department will be onsite spraying down a big tarp on the sledding hill! Participants will need to bring their own sled and maintain physical distancing among other participants. There is no cost to participate!
Please park in the East lot at the City Services Building (just west of Simon Moon Park). The address for City Services Building is 2728 E. 171st Street
Due to limited parking, this event will be divided into time blocks and we will allow 200 participants per time block. Each participant will need a free ticket (spectators do not need a ticket). Please be respectful of other participants and adhere to physical distancing guidelines as much as possible.
Bring your own sled! We will not have sleds available to participants to use. Saucer sleds work the best but you may also use a boogie board. Pool floats DO NOT work! If you don't have a sled or boogie board, you can body-slide!
Think of it as a big downhill slip-n-slide…you’ll get wet so make sure to wear the proper attire! You can also bring a pair of goggles or sunglasses to protect your eyes.
