Event Eight of the 2021 Putting Tour will be a very exciting event!!This doubles as the Auckland Open, two rounds will be played on the Safari course and two rounds on the T-Rex course.
This event will triple as the 50th Tour event for the NZ Minigolf Federation, the first event took place in April, 2017!!
Play starts at 1pm and the cost is $15 per person.
ALL SKILLS AND AGES ARE INVITED and whether you lead the pack or trail at the back, you'll be sure to enjoy yourself.
We will be playing with the standard NZMGF rules:
- Tee-off from one club length from the start of each hole
- The ball can be relocated 20cm away from walls and obstacles, as long as no advantage is gained (e.g. line of sight)*
- If the ball leaves the green, return it to the point where it left and re-position using the rule above (no penalty shot awarded)
- Don't be a dick
* Players will be briefed on the day before tee-off regarding ball relocation and the rules in general, along with any local course rulings and a reminder of good sportsmanship.
You can bring along your own putter, play with your WMF-approved balls, golf balls or simply take advantage of the course's standard putter and ball.
THE 2021 PUTTING TOUR LEADER BOARD:
As history has proven, first place is awesome, but there's always the 2021 Putting Tour leader board where consistency is rewarded.
The 2021 leader board is calculated on the top 8 events, allowing you to skip a few of the events (because you know, mini golf for life, but life happens).
Points Schedule:
1st - 50
2nd - 40
3rd - 34
4th - 28, 5th - 25, 6th - 22, 7th - 19, 8th - 16, 9th - 13, 10th - 10
11th to 15th - 7 points each
16th+ 5 points each
The leader board will be updated within 48 hours of the event.
