Harvey's Army Weightlifting is hosting a sanctioned USA Weightlifting Competition. The 2021 Orlando Open & Youth Showcase Event will take place on October 2nd, 2021 This is a USAW sanctioned 2-day weightlifting event. This competition is an open event for any USAW members from youth to master EVERYONE is welcome. Our team prides itself on hosting awesome weightlifting events in awesome venue. We love seeing everyone succeed and we pride ourselves on creating a meet that puts everyone in the best positioning for success on competition day.
This event can be used as a qualifier event for later national events but be sure to check the USA Weightlifting website for cutoff deadlines and qualification periods.
The event will take place indoors in our air-conditioned facility. We look forward to seeing everyone on the 2nd of October.
The top 3 athletes in each of the divisions will receive medals: Youth, Junior, Senior, Master.
***Final lifting Schedule and session times will be posted on September 29th at 5:00pm
***All USA Weightlifitng/IWF Rules will be enforced***
**Proper Weightlifting Uniform is required for this event**
***there will be a $5 spectator fee for this event***
Must be a member of USA Weightlifting to compete. You may sign up for a USA Weightlifting membership the day of the competition on computers in the facility if needed. MUST REGISTER FOR THE EVENT ONLINE IN ADVANCE.
