2021 Oklahoma Transportation Symposium

We are pleased to announce that the 2021 Oklahoma Transportation Symposium will be held on July 27, 2021 (Tuesday) from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm at the OSU Discovery Building in the OKC Innovation District located at 300 NE 9th Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73104. This annual research-oriented Symposium will be mostly in-person with a Zoom access link for virtual participants.

This event offers a great opportunity to showcase your research at the state and national levels. In addition to keynote presentations delivered by nationally renowned leaders in the morning, we are soliciting 25-minute podium presentations on transportation-related research in the broad topics of transportation infrastructure design, civil materials, condition evaluation, and traffic safety and operations.

Please email an abstract of your presentation to Joshua Li ([email protected]) or Royce Floyd ([email protected]) by June 21, 2021. A limited number of podium presentation slots are available, and precedence will be given to presentations within the theme areas of the symposium and based on the order they are received.

Undergraduate and graduate students are highly encouraged to send in poster presentations. Interested students should email the conference chair or co-chair with a title and co-authors as soon as possible. Acceptance emails along with a PPT template will be sent out as the emails with titles are received and reviewed. Poster PPTs must be submitted to the chairs by July 12 and physical posters shall be brought to the symposium before the start of the symposium.

Registrations are free and inclusive of breakfast and lunch. Students are particularly encouraged to register and attend. Registration is due at12:00 pm July 16, 2021. Participants will have the opportunity to receive five (5) Professional Development Hours (PDHs) for attending the entire event.
