Presented by: CIL Jacksonville
Each year, CIL Jacksonville prepares the disability community for emergencies by hosting the Emergency Preparedness Conference for Persons with Disabilities. From this conference, now modeled statewide, an Individualized Action Plan was created. This year’s event will be an interactive conference limited to 60 in-person guests. Additional participants will be able to view the conference virtually. To register for the virtual event, visit (www.ciljacksonville.org/epc). The action plan, which includes medical considerations, communication plans, and sheltering options, will be completed with the help of professionals in their respective fields. A downloadable action plan workbook will be available via your registered email, as well as the event zoom login information, two days prior to the event (July 6, 2021).
The 2021 Emergency Preparedness Conference is sponsored by UnitedHealthCare and the City of Jacksonville's Disabled Services Division. Additional support provided by the Administration for Community Living, Florida Division of Vocational Rehabilitation, and supporters like you.
