COVID-19 HEALTH & SAFETY GUIDELINES:
WE'RE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER
Downtown Partnership of Baltimore is all about gathering together and sharing in the experience of Downtown Baltimore. The Downtown Partnership of Baltimore is committed to the health and safety of all members of the Downtown Baltimore community employees, Board Members, independent contractors, vendors and event attendees.
To ensure the safety of everyone at the event, the following policies will be in place:
PROOF OF VACCINATION OR NEGATIVE COVID-19 TEST REQUIRED
As an attendee, your safety and wellbeing is our number one priority. DPOB is committed to leading the way for our attendees by creating a safe space for in-person events to be held. All attendees are REQUIRED to show proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test.
- Proof of vaccination requirements: Attendees are REQUIRED to present their CDC vaccination record card, or a photocopy, photo, or mobile photo of the card. Cardholders must be at least two weeks past receiving their second dose in a two-dose series (Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna, or other World Health Organization-approved vaccines), or a single dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.
- Proof of negative COVID-19 PCR test within 72 hours of event: For those who cannot provide proof of vaccination, documentation of a negative test taken within three days of the event also will be accepted. The test must be a SARS-CoV-2 viral test (nucleic acid amplification test or antigen test) with emergency use authorization from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. Home tests will not be accepted.
Guests may present proof of vaccination or a negative test on paper or a smartphone.
In addition to proof of vaccination, all guests must also present a government-issued photo ID, such as a driver’s license or passport.
Entry will be denied for guests who do not provide the documentation as required above.
INCREASED SANITATION:
- We will implement the health and safety practices as issued by local and state health authorities, including the venue, and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC).
- We will follow state, local, and venue guidance regarding health and safety, and will encourage frequent hand washing, sanitizing and social distancing.
- Onsite signage will include reminders for physical distancing throughout the meeting space, highlighting rules around health and safety practices.
- Hand sanitizer stations will be placed throughout the show floor and in common areas.
- High-touch areas will be regularly cleaned and sanitized.
- Handwashing stations and hand sanitizers will be strategically placed around the event area.
We are committed to implementing conscious and intentional measures to not only combat COVID-19, but promote healthy best practices that will become the protocol for all events during high- and low-risk time periods alike.
If you are displaying symptoms of COVID-19 and have recently been exposed to anyone who tested positive, we ask that you do not attend the event. Your registration will be fully refunded.
Please continuously check back here. We will revise our procedures as needed to reflect the current state of the pandemic in the US and guidelines in the state of Maryland and Baltimore City.
