This course offers an introduction to bookkeeping skills for those who are considering working in the areas of bookkeeping, clerical accounting, finance, general office work, and those interested in starting their own businesses.
What will I learn?
This course offers a beginner's guide to bookeeping including basic terminology, methodology and bookkeeping skills. Through lectures and in-class excercises you will gain a better understanding of the fundamentals of computerized accounting.
Is this for me?
This 4-week session is designed for those with little or no experience in bookkeeping or accounting and may be of interest to those looking to review their basic knowledge of accounting.
Pre-requisites: Knowledge of Micorsoft Windows; intermediate level of English.

When and where
Toronto Central
Saturdays | 9:00 A.M. - 2:00 P.M. (4 weeks, 20 Hours)
Registration continues up to the second day of class.
Tax Credit: Tuition tax credit forms will be issued.
Certificate: Participants receive a certificate of completion.
Refund Policy:
If you withdraw more than five business days before the start of the Career Skills class you have enrolled in, an 80% refund by cheque, or a reversal to your credit card, will be processed. If you withdraw five business days, or less, before the start of the Career Skills class you have enrolled in, you will receive no refund.
Cancellation Policy:
Skills for Change (SfC) strives to hold classes as scheduled, however if low enrolment or other circumstances beyond our control occur, SfC reserves the right to cancel or reschedule classes five business days prior to its commencement date.
