The Northern Storm AAA Summer Hockey for boys born in 2016 is happy to announce open tryouts for the upcoming 2025 Spring/Summer/Fall Season. This year's team will participate in 4-5 tournaments around the Midwest with a strong focus on developing and growing the kids as individual players and teammates on and off the ice. The 2016 Northern Storm expect to have roughly 30 hours of practice throughout the season, in addition to all the tournaments. We will attempt to have a dryland training component before every practice to build the foundation and encourage strength and endurance growth. We encourage kids, especially at this age to be multi-sport athletes, therefore we'll attend a couple tournaments in April/May and then again in August/September. We will still practice throughout the summer, just a at slower frequency. This hopefully allows our kids to participate in some other summer sports! The majority of practices will take place in Superior, WI or Proctor, MN depending on available ice.Our goal is to build to most competitive team in the twin ports region while developing our kids for the next years winter Squirt season!
Expected roster size: 16 (includes 1-2 goalies) No roster spots have been reserved before tryouts!

January 26th: 6:00pm - 730pm in Carlton, MN
Four Seasons Sports Complex (90 Chestnut Ave, Carlton, MN 55718)
Cost: $20.00 per player (paid via cash/check/Venmo on site)
