Explore the Library’s 200th Anniversary Exhibitions in this special tour for educators led by Senior Curator Elise Edmonds. Discover the stories behind the careful selection of the objects in the exhibition — from world-renowned highlights to unexpected treasures. Elise will showcase key pieces from the Library collection and offer insights into the diverse contemporary works currently on display. The tour will also include a behind-the-scenes visit to the underground Library stacks.

Elise Edmonds works in the Collection Acquisition & Curation branch of the Library. With a background in Australian history and Museum Studies, she has worked with the Library’s maps, pictures and manuscript collections, acquiring, researching and promoting these to a variety of audiences. She has curated several exhibitions, including the Peter Kingston exhibition, K*ll or Cure: a taste of medicine and Dead Central. Most recently she was lead curator for the 200th Anniversary Exhibitions.
