Hello, gentlemen!I would like to invite you to the 2002 Canfield Football Team reunion. It is amazing to reflect that 20 years have passed, and while we have all gone in different directions and kept in contact intermittently along the way, there is no replacement for the friendship we built as a Cardinal football team. I see this as a great opportunity to invite the members of the 2002 team to gather for a night of reminiscing, story-telling, catching up, and shit talking (of course). More details will come over the next few months, but I at least wanted to get the date locked down for anyone who can make it: Friday, September 2, 2022. Plan to attend the Alumni Night game and meet up for drinks afterwards. It's perfectly timed up with the Fair that weekend - even a better reason to make the trip back to Canfield!
I am doing my best to get this message to everyone on the team, but I would appreciate your help in forwarding this to anyone who was on the team but is not on this distribution list. Please also have them drop me a note so that I can add them to future communications.
In addition to the social aspect of the reunion, I want to take the opportunity to pay it forward and sponsor a $1,000 scholarship for a current senior football player. You are not at all required to donate, but if you are able to contribute to the cause on behalf of our class, the team would very much appreciate it.
