200 HR YOGA TEACHER TRAINING (YTT)
Sept 3- Dec 4- meeting every other weekend (ish)
WHAT YOU’LL LEARN
✨Pose Breakdowns- learn variations, modifications, and benefits of yoga poses, and how to utilize props to deepen accessibility for yourself and your studnets.
✨Anatomy- skeletal and muscular structures, fascia, tendons, ligaments, and joints
✨Yoga Philosophy- 8 limbs of yoga, yoga sutras, history of yoga, and how to apply the ancient wisdom of these teachings on and off the mat.
✨Teaching Skills- Sequencing and Cueing safe and effective classes, how to theme a class and create an experience, finding your unique voice, the art of holding space.
✨Styles of Yoga: Vinyasa, Hatha, Yin, Restorative, Prenatal, Guided Meditation
✨Energetic Bodies: Chakras, Meridians, Ayurveda
✨Equity & Inclusion: the importance of creating equity and inclusion in and through yoga, guided by the 8 limb yogic path.
✨The Business of Yoga: Learn all the ways you can contribute to your community and apply your teachings once you're a certified teacher. Find answers to the "now what?" after ytt.
