Mindfulness for a Meaningful Life, Restorative Yoga Therapy, Pain Management and Trauma Informed Yoga Teacher Training
Welcome to BIYOME’s Integrative Yoga Stream! In this 200hr training, you will explore the neuroplastic brain, the biome, and genome. You will experientially engage your mind and body in the link between stress and chronic pain, the value of relationships on our health, food-mood connection, and how trauma and PTSD affect our neurobiology and brain over our lifetimes. As a 200hr Integrative Yoga Teacher, you will be able to deliver practical yoga and meditation methods for assisting your students, clients, or patients.
Teachers completing this course will become coherent in the current science and research, impart these teachings in the Allied Health Professions and fields of Mind-Body Medicine. The faculty and teaching staff on this particular course are highly trained Professors and Doctors of Psychology, Senior Lecturers and Researchers, Senior Yoga Teachers, and Yoga Therapists. For this reason, we name the course Integrative Yoga Teacher Training: Science, Medicine, Psychology.
Training is conducted in a retreat setting, a 24-acre sanctuary designed to restore, rejuvenate, and regenerate body and mind.

Upon completing this course, you will have the skills to teach a rich and informative, educated, evidenced-informed class. You will be able to understand and deliver your teachings with confidence, convey the latest research in the allied health field to students, offer appropriate teaching cues, and teach therapeutic yoga postures aided by the use of neurological feedback with props and heightened proprioceptive awareness.
BIYOME’s Yoga Teacher Training courses also create a unique avenue to becoming a yoga teacher registered with Yoga Australia and Yoga Alliance.
Upon graduation, certification with BIYOME avails the opportunity to register with either Association providing you with a globally recognized membership. Yoga Australia and Yoga Alliance provide a standard of training recognition for teachers to practice with insurance worldwide. While Yoga Australia is highly regarded in Australia and the UK, Yoga Alliance may be your registration choice should you wish to teach in the USA.
