Seit 2005 sind die Tsaziken auf musikalischer Entdeckungsreise: fünf Sängerinnen, die sich mit Leidenschaft und Neugier traditionellen Liedern aus aller Welt widmen.
Ihr Repertoire reicht von nordischer Klangkunst über georgische Polyphonie bis zu ungeraden Balkan-Rhythmen – immer kraftvoll, direkt und voller Lebensfreude.

Anlässlich ihres 20-jährigen Jubiläums präsentiert das Ensemble im LOFT ein Konzert mit bewährter Energie und einer Auswahl seiner schönsten Stücke. Die Band steht unter der Leitung von Raimund Kroboth – Gitarrist, Arrangeur und prägende Figur der globalen Klangszene in Köln. Als musikalischer Kopf der Tsaziken ist er für den charakteristischen Sound des Ensembles verantwortlich und hält als verbindende Kraft alles zusammen.

The Tsaziken have been on a musical journey of discovery since 2005: five singers who dedicate themselves with passion and curiosity to traditional songs from all over the world.
Their repertoire ranges from Nordic sound art to Georgian polyphony and odd Balkan rhythms – always powerful, direct and full of joie de vivre.

To mark its 20th anniversary, the ensemble presents a concert at LOFT with proven energy and a selection of its most beautiful pieces. The band is led by Raimund Kroboth – guitarist, arranger and influential figure on the global sound scene in Cologne. As the musical head of Tsaziken, he is responsible for the ensemble’s characteristic sound and is the unifying force that holds everything together.
