Join this single weekend immersion gaining confidence in teaching both private and public yin yoga and simple sound bath sessions.
You will receive in-person instruction, a detailed hard copy manual, additional 1:1 mentoring, and hands-on instruction.
Props and instruments will be provided, as well as a list of resources for your practice/business.
You will graduate with the ability to understand and apply the philosophy, energetic anatomy, and physical techniques of a yin and sound practice.
Meeting times and days are:
Friday, Sept. 5 from 5 - 8 p.m.
Saturday, Sept. 6 from 1 - 8 p.m.
Sunday, Sept. 7 from 1 - 8 p.m.
The training will be held at our Lewis studio location: 510 Lewis Road, Santa Rosa.

About the instructor Vinita Laroia:
Vinita’s yoga and meditation practice began in 1998 while she was a student and ski bum in Colorado. Since then, she has made long term homes in Wyoming, Japan, and California. Influenced by the natural world and the many places she has traveled; her personal practice is based on a sense of deep ecology and global philosophy.
Vinita practices and teaches various movement modalities, including vinyasa, yin, and barefoot strength; as well as Buddhist and guided meditation. She has over 1,000 hours yoga-related credentials and has been teaching for 10 years.
Her sound healing sessions include gongs, crystal bowls, Tibetan bowls, tingsha bells, various chimes, Native American flute, drums and her own voice.
