So join us for a magical sea exploration as we explore the ocean's sea-life treasures in one of the top African kelp forests, which is only one of 9 sea forests globally and the only one in Africa. It is a place bursting with colour and life. There is nowhere else like it. We will explore the kelp forest and possibly see fish, penguins, octopus, and other strange sea creatures.
Let Pisces Divers based in Simon's Town take you on a Guided Tour in a once-in-a-lifetime adventure trip to snorkel and swim at one of the top snorkelling kelp forest sites in Cape Town
Our experience will start with a briefing at the Simons Town Pisces Divers office. We will also be informed about the snorkelling site and what we can expect to see on our trip in terms of marine life. From the shore, the Windmill Beach snorkelling site is accessible. We will also be provided 5mm wetsuit to keep you warm and other assorted snorkelling gear. From here, we will go diving with our guides into the ocean to explore the wonders that can be seen below.

ABOUT WINDMILL BEACH

Windmill Beach is one of the most popular places for snorkelling in Cape Town and is located in the western part of False Bay, next to the famous Boulders Beach and its colony of South African penguins. It's a good place for both experienced snorkelers and people who are new to it.
The entire area of the bay is filled with marine life, including seastars, urchins, and brittlestars, as well as octopus, cuttlefish, otters, seals, and penguins. The varied topography and diverse ecology of this site make it an interesting place to snorkel or free dive, regardless of how many times you have done so before.

Our snorkel experiences are led by certified Guides and instructors who have gained vast insights and understanding of the fauna and flora that make our ocean unique. Let them guide you through the kelp and share many of its secrets with you.
All the gear you need to feel as warm, ready, and comfortable as possible is provided. We will also have a safety surface buoy with us during the snorkel to hold on to.

Included in cost for this private guided tour, providing all the specialised gear. They have fleece lined 5mm one piece wetsuits with hoods. We also provide 2mm vests, 4mm gloves, booties, fins, and silicone masks and snorkels. Their equipment comes in a range of sizes to suit everyone.
