Dr. ILonka Rus, Director of Keyboard Studies and Professor of Piano at Sam Houston State University, brings a wealth of experience and artistry cultivated through performances worldwide, including prestigious venues like Carnegie Hall. Her exceptional talent, nurtured since childhood in Romania, has earned her recognition as a chamber musician and educator, with accolades such as the Fulbright scholarship and the Kawai Educator Medallion Award.
Alongside her, Eduard Gavril, a versatile pianist, composer, and educator, adds his unique flair to the performance. Trained in Romania and the United States, Eduard's musical journey embodies dedication and passion, evident in his performances and interdisciplinary collaborations. Together, ILonka Rus and Eduard Gavril promise an unforgettable musical experience.
