2 Hour Horse Experience - Brush, Saddle and Trail Ride

Come enjoy a relaxing horse lovers dream. Experience brushing and saddling your horse and then blaze a 1 hour trail ride thru the woods.
About this Event

PRE-RIDE PREP: 1 hour walk thru of how to catch, brush, prepare and tack up horses. This is a great time to ask questions and learn about the horses or just get some good ol' horse hugs. Disclaimer: This is an optional activity. If your ride is not the first ride of the day, it is possible that your horses will already be saddled prior to your arrival. If this is the case, we will simply get on and go for your ride. We do not charge extra for the Pre-Ride Prep. If your group is the last ride of the day, you may stay and help us unsaddle and feed the horses. This optional activity is best for anyone older than 6 yeas of age. We reserve the right to restrict young children from this activity.

TRAIL RIDE: 1 hour trail ride. This is a unique trail ride experience for kids and adults. For those who don't know how to ride, we provide a safe hand led experience and/or some basic instructions on how to stop, go, and turn the horses. These are not lessons, but just basic instructions on how to handle our specific horses for the purpose of fun and enjoyment. Children under 6 will be led by hand on their own horse until they can handle the horse on their own or ride double (in a buddy seat) with the trail guide. We also serve those more seasoned riders, who want to experience a little more freedom in your ride. However, we gear the rides to the most inexperienced riders in the entire group. All rides are under our supervision and must adhere to our instructions.

We run off minimal charges per ride and donations/tips are appreciated.

ATTIRE AND REGULATIONS: Please wear long pants and boots if possible. Otherwise, closed toed shoes with ankle support are best (no crocks or flip-flops). We will likely turn you away if you wear shorts, dresses, or inappropriate foot wear. All riders must be under 200 lbs.

WAIVERS: Everyone must sign a waiver prior to riding. All children under 18 must have a legal guardian present or bring a signed waiver with them. Waivers can be requested via text at 903-576-3029 or you may sign it online at: https://zabcik-ranch-llc.square.site/agreement-and-waiver.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Please cancel/reschedule 2 hours prior to ride. Pre-payments/deposits can not be reimbursed. You may reschedule your appointment 1 time or forfeit your deposit.

AMMENATIES: We have a picnic table for resting/waiting. For restrooms, we have a port-a-potty available. There is a snack shack vending machine where you can buy snacks and drinks for $0.75 / item, so bring your quarters.
