The Rome Art and Community Center and the Mohawk Valley Bluegrass Association present a concert with the group 2 Friends - a dynamic duo featuring Amy Boulrice on vocals and Donna Mucks on vocals and guitar, who joined forces in 2021 to create a truly unique sound. With a deep love for music, both individually and as a team, their journey has included performing with the Mohawk Valley Bluegrass Band.
Blending Donna’s “little bit country” flair with Amy’s “little bit rock and roll” energy, 2 Friends delivers a diverse repertoire that spans Gospel, hymns, folk classics, and even hits from the 1950s. Their performances are filled with charm, tight harmonies, and plenty of personality, taking audiences on a journey from heartfelt melodies to toe-tapping fun—and maybe even a few laughs along the way.
2 Friends can’t wait to reconnect with old friends and make new ones at their upcoming performances!
Musicians who play acoustic instruments are welcome to join the group after the performance for a jam session hosted by Bill Fahy.
