2 days learning the fundamentals of winter walking. Based in Fort William we use the Ben Nevis and Glencoe mountains over the 2 days focused on learning rather than summits. This course is designed to give time to learn the techniques of: ice axe, ice axe arrest, crampons, winter kit, safe route planning and walking over varied terrain in changing weather. This course is for those who have summer hill walking experience and want to start getting into the winter mountains.
£300 per person plus any winter hire kit.
