Unleash your creativity at our Weekend Wheel Throwing Mug workshop! You will expect to create one to two mugs in this two day workshop.
First day (Sat.): We will be learning on throwing a cylinder form by using a pottery wheel.
Second day (Sun.): We will be on the wheel again to carefully trimming your piece and also attach handle on your cylinder to complete the mug.
$100/per person (2-day)
Throwing is a messy business, remember to bring an apron/handtowel and trim long nails as they can get in the way of your creative expression.
Students can either choose to come back to glaze their own piece or have our instructor to glaze for them. Glazing is already included in the price of this workshop, you will get an email notification to schedule your glazing date once we complete a bisque firing for your piece.
Age: Anyone aged 14 and over is welcome to join but students under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult who is also taking the class.
What to wear: Flat, closed toe shoes are essential. Wear comfortable clothes that can get a little dirty
