Join us and instructor Justin (from Just-in Stone) for the third and final session of a hands-on 2-day traditional stone walling course at our community vineyard in the Tamar Valley. Funded by the Farming in Protected Landscapes project and organised by Tamar Grow Local, this course is intended to promote traditional rural craft skills within the Tamar Valley.Join this final weekend to finesse your skills in the restoration of a traditional stone wall; this session will be all about getting the wall to the desired height before learning what to do when finishing the wall. You can choose to come along for just this one weekend session, or invest yourself in all three sessions to better understand the intricacies associated with each step of the wall restoration process. Tea, cakes and good chat will be provided for the course, and further details will be provided to you upon confirmation of booking. We look forward to seeing you there!
The course is free to attend, but we do require a £20 deposit + Eventbrite's booking fee. The £20 deposit will be refunded upon attendance of both days of the weekend session. Unfortunately we are unable to refund Eventbrite's own fees.
Please note that although taught by a professional walling instructor, this course is not designed for commercial landscaping or building workers and does not lead to a formal qualification.
