Warmly welcome to a two day immersion in dhrupad, north indian classical music, with renowned singer Marianne Svašek.
Marianne has been teaching and performing all over the world and she is coming back regulary to Sweden to share her knowledge in this ancient music. During the workshop you will be guided in your voice through the basics of dhrupad which will include scale practices, kharaj (morning singing in the low register), ragas, rytm and much more. You will get the chance to become more familiar with your own personal sound and explore it through a meditative state. The workshop is open for everyone no matter previous experience.
