Please join me for a 2 day-Paper Marbling and Bookbinding Experience.
Friday I will have your papers prepped and ready to go. I will provide breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack. Drinks will also be provided. Please advise if any food allergies.
Saturday I will have all supplies ready to go to make your long stitch book, you will choose some of your marbled papers (which I will have pressed) to use as your cover. You will leave with a completed book and your papers. I will also provide breakfast, lunch and snack on Sunday.
I'm a local artist with over fifteen years of paper marbling experience. This experience will be held in my home studio, located in South City, St. Louis, MO.
The schedule will look as follows-
FRIDAY - In my Wet Studio
8:30 arrive
8:30-9:00 Breakfast
9:00 - 12:00 Marble
12:00 12:45 Lunch break
12:45 - 3:30 Marble
3:30 - 4:00 Wrap up and afternoon snack
S UNDAY - In my Art studio
9:30 Arrive
9:30-1 0:00 Breakfast
1 0:00 Books
1 1:15-12:00 Lunch Break
1 2:-3:00 Finish books
3 :00-3:30 Wrap up and snack
You will leave with a completed long stitch book covered in your own marbled paper and your papers that you marbled the previous day. The book will be long stitch with 8 signatures of mixed media paper. The book is 5.25" x 7.25".
This will be a VERY relaxed and fun class. There will be only 3 spots available for each workshop date.
Please wear comfortable shoes and clothing that can get Acrylic paint splattered on for Saturday.
**There are stairs required to get to the studio.**
