The Paediatric and Early Years first aid programme has been designed to meet with the recommendations of OFSTED for people working within early year’s education. These recommendations require all working within this sector to have first aid training with the subjects aimed specifically at children and infants.This Paediatric programme is deemed suitable for anyone working with children including childminders, child carers, parents, Sunday school and play scheme leaders. The Paediatric First Aid course and is specifically designed for pre-school staff and nursery staff whose first aid qualification must meet with the recommendations of OFSTED

Assessment and certification:
The assessment for Paediatric and Early Years First Aid includes a continuous and ongoing assessment of students, undertaken by the programme instructor. The instructor will provide ongoing but unpressured, observation of students during all practice and scenario sessions.
