We're back with our first in-person conference in 5 years. Join us for a deep dive into neurovascular science September 28/29 in Tsawwassen!
About this Event

Hear the latest neurovascular research and health management strategies from researchers and practitioners at our 2024 two day conference in beautiful Tsawwassen (just south of Vancouver), BC. This conference will include topics related to multiple sclerosis, ME/CFS, Long COVID (PAIS - post-acute infection syndrome), brain injury and related complex medical conditions. If you are affected by these conditions as a patient, loved one, researcher or practitioner, you will benefit from this conference's comprehensive, multidisciplinary program. Learn the underlying similarities that cut across disease labels and focus on emerging science in neurovascular health.

*I have a few discounted rooms left for Friday and Saturday nights at the Coast Tsawwassen Inn. Please contact Sandra Birrell directly at [email protected] if you would like one.

HEALTH INFORMATION

Our highest priority remains the health and safety of everyone attending the conference. To do our part to create a healthy and safe meeting environment, the Canadian Neurovascular Health Society recommends the following mitigation strategies:

  • Stay up to date with COVID-19 and other recommended adult vaccinations.
  • Do not attend the conference if you have symptoms that could be consistent with a “cold” or any other respiratory infection and leave the conference if you develop such symptoms.
  • Use at-home/antigen/rapid tests before you arrive. We will be providing free additional rapid tests as supplies permit to anyone who needs them.
  • While masks are not required, please respect those who choose to wear one.
  • Practice good hygiene, including washing hands frequently, covering coughs and sneezes, and self-isolating if you feel unwell.
  • Meals may be taken to the outdoor patio (space and weather permitting).
  • Attendees will have access to the conference content online if they are unable to attend in person due to illness or a positive COVID-19 test.
  • While these plans are in place to prevent the spread of respiratory infections at the conference, we recognize that the risk of infection cannot be completely eliminated. Everyone who attends Neurovascular Connections 2024 Conference does so at their own risk.
