This Mountain Training course will cover all the basic skills to get about in the UK mountains - navigation and map reading, equipment, weather, emergency procedures and do some great mountain walking. We will also cover some skills for tackling scrambles and can include some easy fun scrambling in the course. Its ideal for beginners and will hopefully broaden your skills to take on more challenging mountain walks.The course is a Mountain Training course so registration is required (included) - you will receive a Safety in the Mountains booklet and gain access to the Digital Logbook so you can log all your mountain activities online.
The course is 2 days and we will meet up each morning. Accommodation / food not included.
Registration with Mountain Training is included
The course will be based in North Snowdonia and will meet on Saturday morning in Bethesda.

For activities cancelled by me, (not including weather cancellations*) you will receive a full refund.
