2-D Media Workshop: Giving Yourself A Challenge with Eddie TallentNovember 19-20, 2025 10 AM – 4 PM
This workshop is for artists of all skill levels. You will focus on the completion of a painting or drawing that deals with subject matter OR a particular technique that you find challenging. You may pursue the project realistically or abstractly using references or your imagination. All approaches are valid! Participants must provide their own materials and be prepared to complete a finished artwork of at least 12 x 16 inches. Students may work in any color, drawing, or painting medium including, but not limited to, colored pencil, pastel, watercolor, acrylic, gouache, egg tempera, oils, or even collage. NOTE: For this workshop, you will also need to bring along a sketchbook and drawing materials (pencils, erasers, etc.), for some preliminary exercises.
